Lead Operational Technology (OT) systems asset management and risk management.

We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Operational Technology (OT) Technical Security Lead to join our Technology team. Reporting to the Head of Security, Risk and Compliance, the OT, Technical Security Lead will manage key OT vendors and service agreements from an IT and Cyber Security perspective and enhance the OT Cyber Security controls capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of APAC’s OT Security framework, roadmap, policies and standards
  • Takes lead in addressing both internal and external requirements regarding OT security matters.
  • Responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of OT systems.
  • Provides technical advisory expertise for the support of OT security systems and solutions
  • Responsible for the asset and risk management of OT systems
  •  Oversee the research and analysis of OT security systems, and coordinate the feasibility, cost justification, selection, and purchase of said systems
  • Develop and/or enhance OT security monitoring, detection and response (MDR) capabilities.
  • Work with our Security Operations team to develop incident response plans & playbooks for OT systems.
  • Communicates Information Security policies, procedures and best practices to OT business stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Significant experience within OT & IT cybersecurity and risk management for organisations.
  • Experience in SCADA systems (Power Distribution, Solar, Building Management, etc.)
  • Sound understanding of global cybersecurity standards and Australian critical infrastructure security frameworks.
  •  Experience with IT systems (servers, anti-malware, backup management, etc.) would be an advantage.
  •  Degree qualification in information technology, security or engineering disciplines
  •  Knowledge of the Globally Accepted Information / Cyber Security Principles
  • Ability to organise and prioritise work to meet project timelines and interdepartmental deadlines.
  • Ability to influence leaders and peers.
