Digital Engineer

Key responsibilities:

The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

• Manage and govern digital engineering data across capital projects, ensuring alignment with APAC standards
• Conduct model audits, data validation and support model federation into Melbourne Airport’s master digital model
• Support end-to-end digital information management from project planning through to operations
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to respond to digital data requests and improve data quality
• Act as a Digital Engineering SME, supporting systems such as ACC (BIM360), Revit, GIS and SharePoint
• Contribute to the development of Melbourne Airport’s digital twin and continuous improvement initiatives 

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience working within digital engineering or infrastructure project environments (2–5 years desirable)
• Knowledge of digital design platforms such as ACC (BIM360), Revit, Revizto and SharePoint
• Strong understanding of BIM processes and digital information management (ISO19650 knowledge advantageous)
• Relevant qualifications in Digital Engineering, Civil, Structural, Services Engineering or Architecture
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
