We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Relationship Manager to join our Ground Transport team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, Ground Transport, this role is responsible for engaging revenue stakeholders and commercial vendors to monitor and manage contract operating requirements plus develop mutually beneficial relationships.
Key deliverables associated with this role include coordination and administration of the full range of commercial activities, commercial contracts and system management, managing internal and external stakeholder and partners’ commercial queries and communication, as well as supporting the revenue and marketing team with consumer research and reporting. The role monitors contracts so they are managed to key metrics and kept current. The Relationship Manager provides recommendations to adapt agreements to anticipate and respond to business needs while ensuring that the Ground Transport solutions represent ‘best practice’.

Key responsibilities:
The role's duties and accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
- Stakeholder and Vendor Contract Management
- Overall responsibility for the administration of commercial contracts
- Manage information and documentation including development and maintenance of the Ground Transport contracts register and associated SharePoint sites.
- Ensure all customer enquiries, concerns and requests are addressed in a timely manner
- Understanding the markets, products and operating environment Stakeholders and Vendors work in to enable APAC to support their business requirements onsite.
- Providing data driven insights to customers to help them understand how best they can optimise commercial performance
- Stakeholder and Vendor Relationship Management
- Maintain and develop relationships with all corporate parking clients, bussing, hire car and ride share companies
- Meet with stakeholders and vendors regularly, formally, and informally, to establish first point of call for the business.
- Engage customer and internal stakeholders to deliver on agreed contract scope and daily operational requirements.
- Reporting / Audits / Research
- Assist in month end reporting and reconciliation processes
- Complete monthly price reviews of competing operators. Monitor and report on price or service initiatives being undertaken by competitors
- Assist the Ground Transport team and other internal stakeholders with annual audits and ongoing revenue reconciliations
- Develop and support internal stakeholders with the creation of tools, templates and processes to streamline efficiencies
- Team Coordination
- Maintain oversight of the team’s marketing deliverables and the client’s needs and expectations including assisting marketing team with all outgoing communications pertaining to commercial updates and marketing.
- Perform ongoing and regular audits to ensure information accuracy in the Landside Access section of the Melbourne Airport website and car park online booking website. Manage internal stakeholders including digital marketing to ensure website is accurate.
- Work collaboratively with Operations customer service centre to ensure all commercial issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
- Actively participate in strategic discussions and meetings.
- Support the Commercial team with managing communication to stakeholders on price changes, construction updates, updates to systems and processes
The successful candidate will have:
- Degree qualified in Commerce or Business desirable, or with relevant working experience
- Sound business acumen combined with problem solving and decision-making skills. Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and with ease
- Ability to perform in a changing environment, operating with a level of autonomy while maintaining support from key stakeholders and team members
- High level of attention to detail and ability to present analysis’ in an accurate, compelling and concise manner
- Ability to prioritise workload, manage to deadlines across multiple projects.
- Adaptability and resilience with proven emotional intelligence
