We are seeking a caring Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Serving of food and beverages with care and attention to detail
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation and dining areas to ensure a pleasant dining experience
- Serving meals to residents and patients in a timely and professional manner to brighten their day
- Following all food safety and sanitation regulations to protect the health and safety of our residents
- Assisting with dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning duties to maintain cleanliness
- Complying with dietary requirements or restrictions where applicable (e.g., allergies, religious diets) to be inclusive of all needs
- Reporting any maintenance or food safety issues to supervisors promptly to ensure they are addressed
- Supporting kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth workflow and upbeat environment
We are looking for someone passionate about providing excellent service and enriching the lives of others through food. Core strengths we value include attention to detail, commitment to hygiene and safety, ability to work well with others, and genuine care for people.
This role involves standing, walking, bending, and lifting during shifts. Shifts may vary but the ability to work some evenings and weekends is required. Appropriate training will be provided.
