💼 About the Role

As the ANUM, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the Nurse Unit Manager with the day-to-day coordination and delivery of high-quality care in a fast-paced urgent care environment. You’ll lead by example, mentor junior staff, and ensure efficient patient flow while fostering a positive, safe, and collaborative workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager in clinical and operational leadership
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in line with best practices
  • Coordinate staffing and patient flow to ensure timely and effective service delivery
  • Promote continuous improvement and contribute to staff development and education
  • Act as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff

👤 About You

You're an experienced, compassionate, and motivated nurse leader with a passion for urgent care and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You thrive in fast-moving environments, inspire confidence in your team, and are always focused on delivering exceptional care.

You will have:

  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Critical Care Nursing or equivalent, or working towards
  • Advanced Life Support/Paediatric Advanced Life Support competent.
  • Clinical experience in the relevant specialty including Triage experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A desire to make a difference in a regional healthcare setting
  • Commitment to professional growth and development in leadership.
