Expression of Interest: 3-Month Urgent Care Rotation

Urgent Care provides a fast-paced and varied clinical environment where you will have the opportunity to develop your ability to:

  • Undertake focused and comprehensive clinical assessments
  • Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration and red flags
  • Develop confidence in clinical reasoning and decision-making
  • Identify when a patient requires escalation or senior clinical review
  • Strengthen your prioritisation and time-management skills
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team
  • Gain greater exposure to a broad range of acute and urgent presentations
  • Build confidence in managing patients in a dynamic and sometimes unpredictable environment

This rotation is designed to support your professional development and clinical growth, with opportunities to learn from experienced clinicians and apply your existing knowledge in a new setting.

Who Should Apply?

We welcome expressions of interest from staff (RN) who are curious, motivated and keen to learn. You don't need to know everything — this rotation is about developing your skills, asking questions, gaining experience and becoming a more confident clinician.
