We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to serve as the Acting Nurse Unit Manager at our senior living community. You will provide clinical leadership and oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department while promoting the delivery of optimal resident care.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong collaborative leadership abilities and the ability to motivate staff
- Exceptional clinical expertise as an experienced registered nurse and role model for best practices
- A commitment to continuous quality improvement with a focus on improving resident outcomes
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing care principles, regulations, and the ability to ensure regulatory compliance
In this integral role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing daily nursing operations, including supervision of nursing staff
- Ensuring the highest standards of nursing care and services for our residents
- Monitoring resident health and overseeing care plan development
- Partnering with the interdisciplinary team to advance resident quality of life
- Driving process improvements and supporting survey readiness
- Upholding a positive, supportive work environment that attracts and retains nursing talent
