We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to serve as the Acting Nurse Unit Manager at our senior living community. You will provide clinical leadership and oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing department while promoting the delivery of optimal resident care.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strong collaborative leadership abilities and the ability to motivate staff
  • Exceptional clinical expertise as an experienced registered nurse and role model for best practices
  • A commitment to continuous quality improvement with a focus on improving resident outcomes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing care principles, regulations, and the ability to ensure regulatory compliance

In this integral role, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing daily nursing operations, including supervision of nursing staff
  • Ensuring the highest standards of nursing care and services for our residents
  • Monitoring resident health and overseeing care plan development
  • Partnering with the interdisciplinary team to advance resident quality of life
  • Driving process improvements and supporting survey readiness
  • Upholding a positive, supportive work environment that attracts and retains nursing talent
