Food and Domestic Services Assistant, Supper Assistant

Permanent Part-Time

Maryborough District Health Service (MDHS) is seeking a reliable and motivated Part-time Food & Domestic Assistant and Part-Time Supper Assistant in Maryborough.  Support meal services and cleaning in a friendly, community-focused healthcare setting supporting our residents, patients, visitors and staff. Day time and Evenings Shifts available.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

• Assist with meal services
• Ensure safe food handling practices are followed
• Complete cleaning duties in line with infection control and cleaning standards
• Maintain cleaning schedules and required documentation
• Deliver friendly, respectful customer service
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment

About You

You will bring:

• Good availability and a flexible approach to work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A Food Handlers Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous experience in a similar role (desirable, not essential)
