Mansfield District Hospital is looking for experienced Registered Nurses with a minimum of 3 years’ clinical nursing experience to join our Urgent Care Centre (UCC).

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse in our UCC, you will provide safe, effective and person-centred nursing care across the patient journey.
Your role will include:
- Completing comprehensive patient assessments and triage
- Planning, delivering and evaluating nursing care
- Responding confidently to changing patient needs
- Working collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams
- Supporting timely discharge planning and patient flow
- Identifying and managing clinical risks
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Providing high-quality infection prevention and control
- Supporting and mentoring less experienced nurses and students
- Contributing to quality improvement, accreditation and Great Care initiatives
- Advocating for patients and their families throughout their care journey
This is a role for a nurse who can think on their feet, work autonomously and remain calm and professional when the UCC gets busy.
What we're looking for
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses who bring confidence, sound clinical judgement and a genuine commitment to providing great care.
You will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- A minimum of 3 years' nursing experience
- Recent acute, emergency, urgent care or similar clinical experience highly regarded
- Strong assessment, prioritisation and clinical decision-making skills
- Current or working towards relevant emergency/urgent care competencies, including ALS/RUCNP/FLEC
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- A commitment to safe, high-quality and person-centred care
- A positive and proactive approach to teamwork
- A willingness to support and mentor developing staff
