Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse ready to take the next step in your career? Mansfield District Hospital (MDH) is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our supportive and collaborative clinical team.

About the Role

As an ANUM, you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to lead and support the nursing team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring operational efficiency, clinical excellence, and a positive team culture. You'll help coordinate daily operations, mentor staff, and contribute to a strong, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to clinical and support staff
  • Assist with rostering, resource coordination, and workflow management
  • Promote safe, evidence-based, and high-quality care practices
  • Support professional development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Be a positive role model for clinical practice and team culture

About You

You’re a compassionate, experienced Registered Nurse with strong leadership skills and a passion for rural healthcare.

Essential:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in acute or relevant clinical care
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to support a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • Strong commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence
