About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Urgent Care Centre, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred emergency and urgent care nursing
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and triage
  • Respond confidently to acute and emergency presentations
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Mentor and support junior staff and students
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful and professional workplace culture

This is an exciting opportunity to work across a broad and varied scope of practice while making a genuine difference within a rural health service.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Emergency Department and/or Urgent Care nursing
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement
  • Current or working towards ALS accreditation / RUCNP / FLEC

Desirable

  • Postgraduate qualification in Emergency Nursing (or working towards)
  • Rural nursing experience
  • Passion for mentoring and team development
