Activities Assistant

Bindaree Aged Care Facility, part of Mansfield District Hospital, is seeking a compassionate and creative Activities Assitant to lead engaging and meaningful programs that support the wellbeing of our residents.

In this rewarding role, you will:

• Plan, develop, and deliver lifestyle and leisure activities that promote social connection, independence, and joy
• Support residents to participate in programs that enhance their physical, emotional, and cognitive wellbeing
• Work collaboratively with our care team to tailor activities that reflect residents’ interests, abilities, and goals
• Foster a warm, inclusive environment where every resident feels valued and supported

About you:

• Enthusiastic, empathetic, and resident-focused
• Experience or qualifications in lifestyle, diversional therapy, or aged care (preferred)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A genuine passion for improving the quality of life for older adults
