The Opportunity

The Senior Account Director at M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment is responsible for driving fully integrated campaigns, leveraging all of the specialisms within the agency including PR and influencers, partnerships, social, content and experiential. Through your passion for sport, entertainment and culture, you will lead some of our biggest clients in creating effective and award-winning integrated campaigns that are distinctive and compelling and drive measurable results for our clients. You’ll think differently about connecting to consumer passion points, taking an earned first approach, maximising rights and entitlements and always thinking multi-channel.

A snapshot of what you'll do:

  • Establishes trusted relationships with existing and new clients to develop and deliver world-class work that maximises our agency’s capabilities
  • Work closely with Strategy, Creative and Specialist Leads to contribute best-in-class partnership ideas and opportunities to creative briefs and responses
  • Coordinates the efforts of the entire agency to deliver fully integrated campaigns on time and on budget
  • Shows an active interest in clients' brand positioning and areas for opportunity
  • Drives project and campaign measurement, monitoring and tracking for campaign analysis
  • Efficiently plans and prioritises team’s work including the work of other departments with well-considered timelines and stakeholder management 
  • Establish trusted relationships with your team and promote a collaborative, team-based culture between departments within the Agency
  • Accurately scopes and forecasts project work, striking the balance between perceived value for clients, and profitability for the agency
  • Actively hunts down opportunities for incremental revenue with existing clients through OOS, proactive ideas, and championing big ideas

Your ideal experience:

  • Demonstrable experience of taking the strategic lead on major partnership and sponsorship deals and delivering outcomes that deliver above client expectation
  • Experience working with major media / rights holders, brand collaborations and ambassadors .
  • Experience building and leading relationships across both large and small clients Experience leading client relationships with exposure to Board-level decision makers
  • Proven experience of working collaboratively with Creative, Strategy and Comms teams to develop and sell ideas
