The Opportunity:

M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment is looking for a Resource Manager to cover an 8 month maternity-leave contract. Open to full-time or part-time (4 days)

As a Resource Manager you are responsible for managing the resource requirements for the creative and design team. We are a small but mighty creative team and therefore resources need to be managed with a proactive approach, bringing forward solutions that focus on high quality and collaborative outcomes.

As the Resource Manager you are accountable for the resource of each creative and design team member, ensuring each team member is utilised to their capacity to drive the best possible creative outcomes. You will leverage your understanding of the creative process to help identify and solve resource problems.

You partner effectively with the wider team to ensure on time, on budget, high quality creative outputs. You will proactively get involved in all jobs at early stages, take ownership of resources and highlight any potential watch outs and opportunities to improve effectiveness.

A snapshot of what you'll do:

  • Manage resources via Monday.com for all retained and non-retained projects 
  • Conduct daily WIP’s as required for any projects or clients requiring reactive planning
  • Conduct regular check-ins with Account Managers, production and creative to proactively identify upcoming issues
  • Manage resources against allocated budgets, and identify and manage scope creep appropriately
  • Add value through reviewing briefs and timelines to advise the best use of creative and design time
  • Build positive and collaborative working relationships across the M&C Saatchi Group to deliver holistic integrated creative outcomes
  • Keep abreast of innovations, technical, workflow and creative, within the industry and advise on new technologies and systems as appropriate

Your ideal experience:

  • Experience in creative trafficking and work-flow management processes
  • Knowledge of the creative and design process to deliver integrated campaigns, including but not limited to content, social, PR, activations and influencer marketing
  • Experience in project management or production a bonus
