The Opportunity:

This position is seen as a pivotal role in the growing 3D capacity of the studio working on a range of projects including design and visual effects for television commercials, film titles, content projects, promos, and AR/VR and experiential interactive formats.

You will be joining a highly creative position within our team structure. We continue to push the boundaries of the industry – creating and designing the unbuilt reality with a strong focus on storytelling and emotive communication.

A snapshot of what you'll do:

  • Work closely with the Creative Director and the 2D/3D team to deliver well crafted visuals aligned to clients needs and brief.
  • Create 3D VFX/Animated sequences using and expanding on your skills as a 3D generalist and becoming competent in lighting, texturing, rigging, rendering, camera, and increasingly in pipeline process and particle and liquid simulations. 
  • Deliver high end 2D/3D Motion Design projects utilizing After Fx, Blender and Cinema 4D and use such systems for bash composites of 3D work as required. 
  • Maintain knowledge of best design practices and software opportunities by partnering with lead platforms and solutions in this space. 
  • Assist in team efficiency methods, including workflow, library maintenance and archiving.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibility with a flexible attitude.
  • A key ability to work as a collaborative team but also autonomously.

Your ideal experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a production agency/studio environment.
  • Strong portfolio of artwork and animated projects.
  • High standard of technical knowledge, attention to detail and quality control of outputs for 2D.
  • Substantial knowledge and experience with animation tools, workflow and principles of character performance and animation (such as posing, timing, acting and storytelling techniques)
