The Opportunity:

A Senior Art Director at M&C Saatchi creates impactful, modern creative solutions - ideas that are effective, strategic, agnostic and transformative for our clients’ businesses. 

The Senior Art Director is responsible for the visual elements of the work in collaboration with a Senior Copywriter, and Creative Directors, and is accountable for the look and feel of the work, from concept through production to completion.

This person will lead client relationships, partnering with Strategists, Account Management and Designers on their client portfolio.

A snapshot of what you'll do:

  • Responsible for the creation of advertising concepts across all media, in partnership with the Senior Copywriter, producing commercially viable and award winning ideas for clients
  • Partner with Craft design team to guide and oversee design solutions and manage integrated campaign production, including shoots
  • Build and nurture positive working relationships within the Creative Department, and across key agency departments
  • Lead key creative meetings with clients, ensuring the creative view is well presented and will play an active role, along with Creative Directors, Account Leads, Strategy Directors in the presentation of creative and strategic work.
  • Provide guidance and support in career development opportunities to more junior team members
  • Provide creative supervision on production stage for all projects

Your ideal experience:

  • At least 3+ years in an Art Director/Conceptual Designer role
  • Expert knowledge of advertising principles - understanding of Advertising channels: TV, radio, print, sponsorships and other emerging media
  • Creative thinker, able to create stunning content against tight deadlines if required; able to brief others to do the same and manage to ensure outcome of a high standard
  • High level of craft skills, delivering professional, high quality art direction for all media
