The opportunity: 

The Accounts Payable (AP) Officer contributes to the success of M&C Saatchi Group by fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This is achieved through the provision of exceptional supplier payment and issue resolution services in a timely, efficient and effective manner.

The AP Officer role will assist M&C Saatchi Group in the area of supplier chain management with accurate and timely data entry, payments via trade terms, and reconciliation of supplier accounts in a timely manner.

A snapshot of what you'll do:

  • Matching, batching and coding of supplier/talent invoices
  • Matching, batching and coding of staff expenses
  • Matching, batching and coding of corporate credit cards
  • Review supplier accounts and reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Respond to supplier account queries and resolve any discrepancies
  • Timely payment of supplier invoices via trade terms
  • Handing of foreign currency transactions and revaluation
  • Ensure compliance to M&C Saatchi Group procedures and processes
  • Handling of the Account Payable Generic email boxes
  • Filing of financial records
  • Participate in financial projects
  • Ad hoc requests 

Your ideal experience:

  • Experience with Talent and Media would be favourable
  • Experience using financial ERP systems and electronic workflow solutions, Spectra PF/MD (BCC) would be favourable
  • Experience using electronic workflow solution would be favourable
  • 3 years work experience in a similar role
