We are seeking a passionate and driven coordinator with experience in marketing, communications, events and administration to become an integral member of the Marketing and Sales team for the McNab Group. As the Marketing and Events Coordinator, you will support the team and McNab’s group of businesses by executing external and internal campaigns, content and events, while helping engage our workforce of 700+ employees, along with our network of clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Day to day, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating project milestone events (sod turns, site milestones, media events) from planning and coordinating McNab representation through to pack down
  • Liaising with project teams, clients and suppliers to confirm dates, event requirements and logistics
  • Preparing detailed run sheets and managing event kits
  • Arranging and coordinating event suppliers (e.g. food and beverage, signage, merchandise)
  • Transporting, setting up and packing down event kits
  • Supporting regional events, including venue sourcing, guest list coordination and RSVP follow-up
  • Engaging confidently with internal and external stakeholders to gather key event information
  • Managing the shared events inbox and assisting with team coordination and meeting logistics
  • Sharing post-event communications (including imagery and thank you messages)
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve repeat events and processes
  • Sourcing and maintaining merchandise stock for gifts and general use
  • Assisting with booking video shoots and coordinating internal talent
  • Coordinating event collateral including, but not limited to, invitations, videos and name tags

The successful candidate will have:

You’re organised, practical and people-focused. You’re just as comfortable picking up the phone to chase information as you are being on-site ensuring everything runs smoothly.

You thrive in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same, and you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves to deliver a polished outcome.

  • Experience in marketing, events or coordination (industry and scale don’t need to match - capability does)
  • Confidence communicating with project teams, clients and suppliers
  • A proactive mindset with strong initiative
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage repeat events efficiently while continuously improving them
  • Confidence on the phone when gathering information and following up RSVPs
  • Adaptability and resilience under pressure
  • A current driver’s licence (you’ll be transporting event materials)
  • Solid Microsoft Suite capability

Nice to have skills – nonessential but highly regarded:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and HubSpot
  • Experience in commercial construction
