Job no: NEFGA
Category: Corporate

We are seeking a passionate and driven coordinator with marketing, communications, events and administration experience to become an integral member of the Marketing and Sales team for the McNab Group. As the Marketing and Events Coordinator, you will support the team and McNab’s award-winning construction and development business through executing our external and internal campaigns, content and events and engaging our workforce of 680 employees, plus network of thousands of our valued subcontractors.

Day to day you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate project milestone events (SOD turns, site milestones, media moments) from planning through to pack down
  • Liaise with project teams, clients and suppliers to lock in dates, event requirements and logistics
  • Prepare detailed run sheets, manage templates and maintain packing lists to ensure seamless delivery
  • Arrange event suppliers (e.g. catering, coffee vans, signage, merchandise) and manage deliveries
  • Transport, set up and pack down event materials – typically arriving 2 hours prior to start time
  • Support client-led media events by coordinating McNab representation and event requirements
  • Assist with partner and regional events, including venue selection, guest lists and RSVP follow-ups
  • Confidently contact internal and external stakeholders to gather information required to support event functions.
  • Manage the shared marketing inbox and assist with team coordination and meeting logistics
  • Share post-event follow up communications (including imagery and thank you messages)
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across repeat events and processes

The successful candidate will have:

You’re organised, practical and people focused. You’re just as comfortable picking up the phone to chase information as you are unloading event gear and setting up signage on site.

You thrive in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same, and you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.

  • Experience in marketing, events or coordination (industry and scale don’t need to match - capability does)
  • Confidence communicating with project teams, clients and internal stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset - you don’t wait to be told what needs doing
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to manage repeat events efficiently while still identifying continuous improvement
  • Confidence on the phone - gathering information, confirming attendance and following up RSVPs
  • Adaptability and resilience - you can think on your feet and stay calm when plans shift
  • A current driver’s licence (you’ll be transporting and setting up event materials)
  • Solid Microsoft Office capability

Nice to have skills – nonessential but highly regarded:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Hubspot
  • Experience in commercial constructions
