Digicor is seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse & Logistics Apprentice to join its team in a full-time capacity. The successful candidate will undertake structured on-the-job training during the first six months of employment and work closely with an experienced warehouse team to develop the skills and knowledge required for a successful career in the industry.
About the Role:
The Warehouse & Logistics Apprentice will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations while developing expertise in inventory management, logistics coordination, customer service, and warehouse systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily warehousing activities, including receiving, sorting, loading, and unloading products.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles and trucks.
- Receive and process faulty parts and devices returned by field technicians using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and process parts and equipment as required.
- Conduct cycle counts and complete stock audits in accordance with warehouse schedules.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Coordinate courier bookings, monitor shipments, and resolve delivery-related issues and disputes.
- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and company policies.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
- Current Forklift Licence (mandatory).
- Willingness to undertake and complete a qualification in Supply Chain Operations, Logistics, or Warehousing.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and email administration.
- Experience using ERP systems and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks and regularly lift up to 20kg.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working with hardware, technology products, or computer components.
- Prior warehousing, logistics, or supply chain experience.
