Apprenticeship - Carpentry

Principal Building & Construction is looking for two motivated and reliable Apprentice Carpenters to join its small and supportive team based in Caboolture. This opportunity is suitable for individuals looking to commence a carpentry apprenticeship, as well as 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentices looking to continue their training.

Previous carpentry experience is welcome but not essential. What matters most is a genuine interest in the trade, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

About the Role:

As an Apprentice Carpenter, the successful applicants will work alongside experienced carpenters and other trades while gaining practical experience across various stages of modular home construction.

The role will involve:

• Working on quality modular homes, with the majority of work based in Caboolture
• Gaining hands-on experience across different stages of the building process
• Learning and developing practical carpentry skills under the guidance of experienced tradespeople
• Working alongside other crews and trades in a small, friendly team
• Enjoying a consistent work location with the flexibility of early starts and early finishes
• Undertaking full-time hours while progressing through a carpentry apprenticeship

About You:

Principal Building & Construction is looking for applicants who:

• Are looking to commence a carpentry apprenticeship or are currently completing their 1st, 2nd or 3rd year
• Have a genuine interest in carpentry and are eager to learn the trade
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability
• Have a positive attitude and enjoy working as part of a team
• Are available to work full-time hours
• Hold a current White Card
• Hold a driver's licence and have access to a vehicle

No previous carpentry experience is required for applicants looking to commence their apprenticeship. A positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to get involved and learn are what matter most.
