Bowral Street Dental Practice is seeking a dedicated and friendly Dental Assistant Trainee to join their well‑established and growing practice in Bowral.

This is a part‑time position, offering 3–4 days per week, with weekday availability required only.

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental team and ensuring our patients receive exceptional care in a welcoming and professional environment.

About the Role:

  • Assisting the dentist during procedures, including instrument handling, suctioning, and maintaining a clear working area
  • Sterilising and preparing instruments and equipment between patients
  • Greeting patients, taking impressions, and completing basic clinical tasks
  • Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date patient records
  • Ensuring the practice is clean, organised, and well‑stocked
  • Providing outstanding customer service throughout each patient’s visit

About You:

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar healthcare role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
  • Confidence using dental equipment and software (training provided if required)
  • A friendly, caring, and patient‑focused attitude
  • Commitment to infection control standards and patient safety
  • Valid Australian work rights or appropriate work visa
