Location is flexible – The role will support staff across all regions Mas National operate in and as such the location is flexible. Mas National have offices located in– Brisbane, Makay, Newcastle, Paramatta, Adelaide, Hobart, Launceston or Devonport.
Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager and working as part of the National Learning and Development team, the Learning & Development officer will support all Mas National (Mas) employees to ensure they are adequately inducted into Mas and trained appropriately to deliver the Apprentice Connect Australia Program (ACAP) services, along with other projects Mas deliver. The Mas Learning & Development Officer will assist with the on-boarding and training of new staff across all streams of the ACAP contract; Sign up and Assessments, Mentoring and Personal Support and Administrative functions to give new staff a thorough understanding of the business units, processes and desired outcomes.
As an innovative and continually improving entity the continual upskilling and training of existing staff is also integral to this role. This role will also encompass reviewing and updating procedures to ensure work is completed to the standard expected in the guidelines provided, and support upkeeping the Learning Management System.
Working with key stakeholders you will support designing and implementing training plans and sessions.
We are seeking a passionate Learning & Development Officer to join our National Learning and Development team. Reporting to the Learning & Development Manager, you will support all Mas National employees through onboarding, training, and continual development initiatives to build their capabilities delivering our programs and services.
In this role you will:
- Facilitate interactive training to onboard new staff across all streams of our Apprentice Connect Australia Program contract
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver engaging training plans and sessions
- Maintain training procedures and materials in line with program guidelines
- Support use of our Learning Management System for training administration and reporting
- Provide post training coaching to embed capabilities
To be successful, you will have:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience engaging diverse audiences
- A problem-solving mindset focused on continuous improvement
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong time management abilities to manage multiple priorities
Experience in mentoring, coaching or vocational training is desirable. A Certificate IV TAE or equivalent is advantageous.
