Smokey Horse are seeking an experienced and personable Bartender to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves engaging with customers, and takes pride in crafting quality drinks and memorable experiences.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a high standard
• Create cocktails with consistency and flair
• Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock control
• Draft rosters and supervise support staff
• Ensure responsible service of alcohol (RSA compliance)
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture

What Smokey Horse are looking for:

• Previous bartending experience (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
• Strong cocktail knowledge and confidence behind the bar
• Current or willing to get NSW RSA certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Calm under pressure with strong multitasking ability
• Passion for hospitality and creating a welcoming atmosphere
