The successful candidate will work alongside experienced educators, supporting the delivery of engaging, play-based learning experiences and actively participating in daily routines. This is an excellent opportunity to learn on the job while working towards a formal qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support educators in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Actively participate in daily routines with a “hands-on” approach
- Assist in maintaining a safe, clean and inclusive learning environment
- Supervise and engage with children during play, routines and transitions
- Follow all service policies and procedures, with a strong commitment to child-safe standards
- Learn from experienced educators and contribute to observations and documentation
Requirements:
- Willingness to undertake a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn
- Commitment to child safety and professional conduct
Essential Criteria:
- Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to complete)
