Town and Country Cabinets have an opening for a Cabinet Maker Apprentice to join the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of Cabinet Making while working alongside our experienced tradespeople.

Primary Objectives:

• Ensure that each component of every job is completed in line with its specific time and quality requirements.
• Ensure each job is undertaken in the order instructed by the Factory Manager.
• Ensure all time is allocated onto base nine operating system.

Key Accountabilities and Tasks:

• Ensure all materials are handled, stored and distributed in a way so as to reduce and/or eliminate any likelihood of damage.
• Pay close attention to requirements of each job and, whenever necessary, clarify instructions with the Factory Manager, so as to reduce and/or eliminate mistakes.
• Undertake any extra tasks as requested by management.

Contribute to teamwork by:

• Attending one on ones with factory manager and working towards improvements discussed.
• Attending and contributing to production and/or toolbox meetings.
• Maintaining harmony and high morale with all people in the team.
• Contributing to team development and activities.
• Recognising that all our people make a valuable contribution to the company; we encourage you to provide feedback or observations on any matters that you believe could enhance the interests of the company, its workforce and/or its customers; and
• Completing all required housekeeping and rostered cleaning in order to ensure a clean, uncluttered and safe workplace.
