Adelaide Alarms and Surveillance Specialists have an opening for a Security Technician (2nd Year or Above Apprentice to join the team.

About the Role:

As a Security Technician Apprentice, you’ll build on your existing skills while gaining hands‑on experience working alongside experienced technicians. Your work will include installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electronic security systems, structured cabling, and data networks across a variety of sites.

This is an excellent opportunity to continue your apprenticeship in a supportive environment while developing practical, in‑demand technical skills.

What Adelaide Alarms and Surveillance Specialists Looking For:

  • Be currently undertaking (or have completed) at least the 1st year of a relevant apprenticeship (Cert III in Data and Voice Communications or similar)
  • Have a genuine interest in electro‑mechanical and electronic systems
  • Have hands‑on tool experience with a basic understanding of cabling and electronic principles
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, self‑motivation, and a proactive approach to learning
  • Be a reliable team player with strong attention to detail
  • Hold a current driver’s licence and have access to reliable transport (preferred)
  • Hold a White Card (or be willing to obtain prior to commencement)
  • Be committed to completing a Cert III in Data and Voice Communications
  • Be willing to undergo and provide a clear National Police Check
