Valley Bar and Accommodation is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Chef to join its growing hospitality team.

With three established hotel venues across the Grafton region, this is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a successful career in the culinary industry while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced chefs, learning all aspects of commercial food preparation, kitchen operations, and food service while completing their apprenticeship qualification.

About the role:

As an Apprentice Chef, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop practical skills and industry knowledge across multiple hospitality venues. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about food, eager to learn, and committed to pursuing a long-term career as a chef.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with food preparation and cooking under the guidance of qualified chefs.
• Learning a variety of cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Assisting with stock rotation and inventory management.
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
• Working collaboratively with kitchen and hospitality teams.
• Completing apprenticeship training and any required study commitments.
