About the role

As a Manteena Site Manager, you will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of construction sites to ensure safety, quality, program and cost expectations are achieved.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day site activities, subcontractors, site supervisors and labour
  • Ensuring safety standards, SWMS, risk controls and compliance documentation are in place and adhered to
  • Driving high‑quality workmanship through strong supervision and clear expectations
  • Maintaining accurate site records, diaries, updates and short‑range programming
  • Collaborating closely with the Project Manager to align site progress with the overarching project plan
  • Monitoring site resources, costs and performance against KPIs
  • Supporting and mentoring cadets and junior site staff
  • Building strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders

About you

You’re a confident construction leader who brings strong communication skills, practical problem‑solving capability and a commitment to delivering projects the right way.

To succeed, you will bring:

  • Certificate IV in Site Management or equivalent, or extensive industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing commercial construction sites and multiple trades
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and promote a strong safety culture
  • Solid understanding of WHS, Quality and Environmental Management systems
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors and colleagues
  • Strong capability with Microsoft Office (Project, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
