About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced, solutions focused Health Recruitment Consultant based in Melbourne to work partially on site with our client on a defence project RPO. We use our strategic advantage, knowledge, capability and networks to uncover and nurture the best defence talent in the market. Our experienced defence specialists across Australia combine their unparalleled market insight with a vast network of connections, developing deep pools of engaged talent for our client’s key and critical permanent roles. Combined with our quality assured best practice assessment and selection approach, Manpower delivers cost-effective, high-quality results that see our clients source the right talent, with the right skills, at the right time.

Stakeholder management, relationship building are crucial factors for your success in this role. Whether you are advising one of the defence industries largest companies on a candidate sourcing strategy or helping a candidate taking the next step in their career, this is an exciting and rewarding role where you will thrive from the challenges presented to you. Your daily tasks include: 

  • Further develop your health recruitment and market knowledge
  • Develop your personal brand and attend defence and industry networking events
  • Deliver to client expectations 
  • Accountable for the complete end to end (360) recruitment process including but not limited to; sourcing and qualifying a variety of candidates suitable for current or future vacancies (health recruitment of Doctors, Nurses (ENs & RNs), Psychologists, Dentists and Dental Assistants), run accurate and comprehensive job briefs with Hiring Managers using such methods as databases searches, job board advertising and social media networks, screening and interviewing candidates (telephone, video or face to face), assessing work rights, arranging interviews with clients, salary information, reference checking, negotiating salaries and managing the expectations of candidates and clients

We're looking for

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

  • Previous local experience in health recruitment essential, with defence recruitment experience an advantage but not essential.
  • Australian Citizen
  • Hold or have the ability to get a baseline security clearance (Will sponsor security clearance for the successful applicant)
  • Ability to introduce and manage innovative staffing solutions
  • Ability to meet KPIs set by your manager around connected phone calls with clients/candidates, client meetings, jobs on etc.
  • Persuasion & influencing skills
  • Relationship building skills
  • Solid organisational skills
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • You will be flexible and agile, solutions focused, ambitious, honest, resilient and a general go getter!
