About the Role

Are you a dynamic and driven professional with a passion for building strong relationships with clients? We're excited to welcome a Bundaberg based Account Manager to our Blue-collar recruitment team who will play a pivotal role in our continued success and drive growth of the Manpower brand.

As an Account Manager, you will primarily focus on nurturing and expanding the relationship with our new client. Candidates with no previous recruitment experience but have similar or transferable skills e.g., in client relationship management and or sales are welcome to also apply.

Reporting directly into our Divisional Manager, you will deliver a quality service to our client and adhere to service level agreements and account management plans. Your main emphasis will be on understanding and meeting the unique needs of our new client, ensuring their satisfaction, and fostering long-term partnerships.

  • Generate new revenue through a variety of business development techniques
  • Delivery and implementation of account management strategies that meet the client’s expectations, in terms of service delivery, quality, responsiveness, price and customer service
  • Maintain proactive relationships with our client and establish an active client call cycle to conduct service & quality reviews to monitor and improve service delivery
  • Consistently meet target levels such as number of client visits, safety conversations, hazard & near miss follow up, post placement client and candidate care calls and visits and production candidate performance reviews
  • Lead generation across ManpowerGroup
  • Maintain adequate pipeline of new business to achieve budget
  • Performance management of the casual workforce, safety management and incident follow up
  • Build profile in local area to maximise business opportunities through effective networking
  • Maintain regular face to face contact with production casual workforce at client site
  • Ensure detailed job briefs are taken for the recruitment team, providing relevant information to ensure the recruitment team can source suitable production candidates
  • Lead safety interactions, initiatives and undertakings with staff members
  • Carry out quality performance surveys for clients
  • Determine pay/bill structure to ensure competitive gross profit margin
  • Produce adhoc reports as required by management
  • Submitting candidates to clients open roles, conducting preplacement site tours, attending first day starts in person

Your Background

In order to be considered for this highly lucrative role you should have:

  • Sales and client relationship management experience (B2B customer service experience is also desirable)
  • Demonstrated communication & presentation skills
  • Experience in the recruitment industry or similar industry (desired but not essential)
  • Solid organisational skills
  • Blue collar exposure and experience advantageous but not essential
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to influence without authority and help drive streamlined decision making across internal and external stakeholders
  • Full Driver's licence and own vehicle and mobile phone
  • You are a ‘people person’ who thrives on getting results and has the ability to relate to a broad range of people
  • Resilient, positive, high energy, able to work autonomously and driven to succeed
