Calling all outdoor and retail enthusiasts! We’re opening a brand‑new Macpac Adventure Hub in Innaloo and are recruiting two Assistant Store Managers, each with a distinct focus. Whether your strength lies in operational excellence or leading teams and delivering standout service, this is your chance to play a key role in bringing this adventure destination to life.

As part of the leadership team, both Assistant Store Managers will support the Store Manager in launching Macpac’s Innaloo Adventure Hub — a destination store offering a broader range, more gear and a true outdoor retail experience.

While both roles are hands‑on and floor‑focused, one Assistant Store Manager will have a stronger emphasis on operations and store execution, while the other will focus on customer experience and team performance.

About the role 

As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in establishing strong foundations as our Innaloo Adventure Hub opens its doors. Working alongside the Store Manager, you’ll help create pace on the shop floor, embed routines, and support the team to deliver consistently strong results as the store grows.

You’ll be instrumental in building operational rhythm in a new store environment, and ensuring the team is set up for success — balancing day‑to‑day execution with a focus on the customer experience.

This role is suited to leaders who enjoy being present on the floor, influencing through action, and helping teams perform at their best.

To really shine here, you’ll ideally bring:

  • Management or supervisory experience in a retail or customer service environment
  • A lead‑by‑example approach with strong floor presence
  • The ability to drive momentum through coaching, routines and execution
  • Confidence supporting sales performance, training and daily priorities
  • Experience working across store standards including VM, stock flow, safety and security
  • Adaptability and resilience in a fast‑moving, new‑store setting
