About the role

As an Assistant Manager, you're key in supporting the Store Manager to help your store reach its full sales potential, operate smoothly, and create a positive, engaging work environment by:

• Leading from the front and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Coaching, developing and inspiring your team to achieve great results.
• Driving sales through strong floor leadership and team engagement.
• Supporting visual merchandising, stock control and operational standards.
• Being a champion of our positive safety culture across the store.

To thrive here, you should ideally have: 

• Leadership experience as a Supervisor, Team Leader or Manager.
• A customer-first mindset and the ability to lead by example.
• Experience coaching, training and developing team members.
• Confidence motivating others and driving team performance.
• Strong operational skills across merchandising, stock and store standards.
• A passion for safety, accountability and creating a great team culture.

Having experience with outdoor clothing and equipment is not essential... a passion for the outdoors or travel is preferable.
