About the Role: As our Photography & Production Assistant, you’ll provide vital support to the studio team — ensuring every shoot runs smoothly while gaining valuable exposure to the photography and production process.

 What You’ll Do… 

General Post-Production, File & Asset Management

  • Help track and log incoming samples, product shoot status, and upload progress.
  • Manage and maintain photo and video assets, ensuring accurate file naming and storage.
  • Support the Graphics Team and resellers by supplying correctly formatted images.
  • Assist with uploading photography and video content to the website and channels such as YouTube. 

Studio & On-Location Photography Support

  • Assist with apparel and equipment photoshoots, including on-body, flat-lay, and stop-motion imagery.
  • Execute clear cut photography as and when needed in the Macpac Studio. 
  • Prepare products for shoots (steaming, pinning, tagging, organising samples).
  • Support on-location shoots, including packing/unpacking gear and assisting crew.
  • Edit and prepare images using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite — especially Photoshop and Bridge — ensuring files are ready for upload.
  • Maintain an organised, tidy, and safe studio and sample storage area.

  • Adobe All-Rounder: Confident across Adobe Creative Cloud — with Photoshop and Bridge as your everyday essentials.
  • Eye for Detail: You notice the small things that make a big difference and never compromise on quality.
  • Master of Organisation: Strong coordination skills to keep shoots, samples, and schedules running smoothly.
  • Spreadsheet Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel — because creative doesn’t mean chaotic.
  • Team Energiser: Collaborative, enthusiastic, and proactive — you bring positivity and initiative to every task.
  • Curious: Keen to learn every aspect of photography and production, from shoot prep to final edits.
  • Ready to Roll: Holds a clean, full driver’s licence — ready to assist on location and keep things moving. 

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in a retail, eCommerce, or creative production environment.
  • A qualification in photography, media, or a related creative discipline.
  • Basic photography or videography skills — confidence behind the camera is a plus!
