We are currently looking for an experienced Tyre Superintendent to join our Perth Workshop Team. While this role is based in our head office at Perth Airport, it is expected that the successful candidate will travel across our sites Australia wide on a regular basis to provide advice, support and services in the application of Tyre Management.

Reporting to Regional Maintenance Manager, Tyre Superintendent is responsible for ensuring that Macmahon achieves tendered tyre cost per hour targets and that Macmahon’s tyre related policies and procedures are in line with industry best practice.

Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing end-to-end technical advice and on-site support to operating projects on all aspects of earthmoving tyre management;
  • Assisting site Leadership teams with Tyre related issues.
  • Ensuring tyre performance is closely monitored with the OEM’s;
  • Ensuring tyre stocktakes are actioned regularly and efficiently;
  • Ensuring processes and systems are in place and maintained to allow accurate reporting analysis (EnTire Database);
  • Identifying Entire database deficiencies and rectifying them;
  • Establishing and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships; and
  • Preparing & delivering tyre management sessions to Operational personnel.

About you:

  • Well-established experience in earth moving tyre management, preferably at a site level within a mining environment;
  • Demonstrated experience in Enterprise Resource Planning Systems preferably Mainpac, enTIRE and AX Dynamics;
  • Sufficient practical knowledge/experience to be able to write/review tyre & rim management plans & procedures;
  • Ability to analyse data, point out inefficiencies and irregularities and formalize reports;
  • Ability to travel to remote locations across Australia on the regular basis;
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, along with proven ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders;
  • High level of computer literacy inclusive of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Project; and
  • Current "C" Class WA Drivers Licence or equivalent.
