McAuley Community Services for Women is no ordinary community service. McAuley supports women and children into safe and sustainable living, regardless of their entry point, complexity, need or recovery time.

McAuley is a ministry of the Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea. In addition to this, feminism, intersectionality, and anti-oppressive practices are imbedded within our client practice and our culture.

We have one permanent part-time (0.6EFT) opportunity.

Our offer:

  • Hourly Rate of $51.00 to $53.31 as outlined in the SCHADS Award Level 5, dependent on qualification and experience. Penalty and allowances are applied on top of hourly rate.

What are the objectives of the Case Manager role?

  • Provide specialist case management support to women who are homeless, whilst acknowledging unique individual intersectionality's.
  • Provide holistic, client-led support across a range of support areas including housing, safety, mental health, independence, well-being, housing, social inclusion and employment.
  • Coordinate and work collaboratively with a range of services and stakeholders to support women to reach their goals.
  • Provide support to women who have escaped family violence, including completing MARAM assessment and safety plans.
  • The overall aim is to support women reach their goals, gain skills and abilities in order to maintain long-term housing and independence.

  • A Working with Children Check (Employee Version)
  • A current driver’s license are mandatory.
  • Successful appointment to the position will be subject to a National Police Check (and international if applicable) 
  • NDIS Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
