About The Role

As a Recruitment Advisor, you will oversee the recruitment across the ACT and Southern NSW region of the organisation, delivering high quality, end to end recruitment services. You will work closely with Hiring Mangers to understand workforce needs, develop tailored recruitment strategies and ensure a seamless experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders.

This role plays a key part in driving improvements in recruitment and onboarding processes, supporting organisational goals, and contributing to a positive and inclusive work place culture.

You’re comfortable managing competing priorities, influencing stakeholders, and continuously improving the candidate and hiring manager experience. Your collaborative approach and strong communication skills make you a trusted advisor across the region you support.

This is an Ongoing Full Time opportunity based in Canberra - ACT, reporting to the Talent Acquisition Senior Partner.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end to end recruitment processes, including job ad creation, candidate sourcing, and interview coordination.
  • Provide expert advice and support to Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  •  Represent the organisation at recruitment events and contribute to employer branding initiatives.
  • Identify and support the implementation of improvements to recruitment process, systems and candidate experience.

 

Key Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, Business or related field.
  • Experience in recruitment or HR, with a proactive approach to hiring and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficiency in cloud based HR systems and recruitment platforms

You must have a:

  • Valid and current Driver’s Licence;

  • Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
