About the role

The Case Manager will provide initial screening and assessment and develop with families, their family case plan. They will identify barriers and provide practical, in-home support for carers, oversee case management activity, provide parenting and trauma information for carers and specific supports for 


This is a Fixed Term 38 hours per week until 30/06/2024 with possible extension and possible permanency, opportunity based in Onslow WA within our Intensive Family Support Services/ Family Care Support Services Program. The position reports to the Coordinator Pilbara Services.


Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in Case Management.
  • Knowledge of traumatised and vulnerable children, young people, and families.
  • An understanding of attachment, trauma theories, child development, child-centered approach, and resilience.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively and with the capacity to liaise with community services, other agencies, and the community.

You must have a:

  • Valid and current Driver’s Licence;
  • Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop);
  • Valid Employee Working with Children Check;
  • Valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check (for risk assessed / client facing roles). MacKillop can assist successful candidates with their application.
