About the role:
This exciting position is based in the vibrant community of Clifton Hill within MacKillop Education Clifton Hill (MacKillop Specialist School, F-12), where you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, reporting directly to the Education and Wellbeing Leader. Rooted in our Catholic ethos and values, we are passionately dedicated to promoting equity and providing inclusive learning opportunities for all students. Our belief in the transformative power of education fuels our commitment to creating a safe, nurturing environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential.
As an Education Support team member, you will collaborate closely with fellow educators to deliver engaging, high-quality learning programs that cater to the diverse needs of our students—especially those with neurodiverse requirements. With only 10 students per classroom, you’ll have the chance to build meaningful connections and provide tailored support in a focused, enriching environment. Our Clifton Hill campus is a Foundation - Senior Years school.
We have x4 Full-Time ongoing opportunities based at our brand new school in Clifton Hill, VIC within our MacKillop Education and Engagement Program. The position reports to the Access Ed and Thrive Program Team Leader. This position will start in January 2026.
Key Selection Criteria:
- A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
- Relevant work experience and a minimum Diploma Qualification, Certificate IV in Education Support or Special needs or equivalent.
- An understanding and commitment to the objectives and values of the organisation, including Sanctuary Commitments, as outlined above, and a capacity to represent MacKillop values as required by the role.
- An understanding of teaching and learning strategies and the ability to implement these as required.
