ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking a Case Manager at McAuley House Ballarat.

As a Case Manager you will provide Individualised and trauma informed case management for women experiencing a range of complex challenges and trauma, including homelessness, mental ill health, substance use and family violence.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

•  Client Support & Case Management - Deliver person-centred support focused on safety, housing, wellbeing, independence, and employment.
• Housing & Family Violence - Provide specialist family violence and housing support, including safety planning and sustainable housing outcomes.
• Coordination & Advocacy - Build strong partnerships, coordinate referrals, and advocate for clients to access services and opportunities.
• Risk & Compliance - Manage client risk, complete incident reporting, and maintain accurate case notes, data, and funding records.
• Team Collaboration - Work closely with the residential support team and contribute to a positive, accountable team culture.
•  Professional Practice - Maintain professional boundaries, engage in ongoing learning, and apply trauma-informed, culturally safe practice.

 KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Case Management Experience: Demonstrated experience supporting clients with complex needs, ideally in homelessness, family violence, mental health, or community services.
• Client-Centred Practice: Ability to apply trauma-informed, inclusive, non-judgemental, and empowering approaches to support.
• Cultural & Sector Knowledge: Understanding of Aboriginal cultures, family violence, homelessness, and the impacts of trauma and marginalisation.
•  Values Alignment: Commitment to McAuley values and principles of feminism, intersectionality, and anti-oppressive practice.
