For over a decade, we’ve provided specialised, trauma-informed support for students who don’t thrive in mainstream settings. Guided by our Catholic values and a deep belief in the power of education, our passionate team creates inclusive, nurturing environments where every young person can feel safe, supported, and empowered to succeed.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is no ordinary teaching role. As an ESCC Learning Specialist, you’ll work in a flexible, dynamic environment across the Eastern region, delivering personalised, one-on-one education to young people.

You’ll provide tailored support through tutoring, targeted interventions, outreach, and advocacy - helping re-engage learners and guide them toward mainstream education, vocational pathways, or further study.

With a focus on individual needs, you’ll design customised programs that build literacy and numeracy, empowering young people to reach their full potential.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing and delivering individualised learning programs tailored to each young person’s needs

  • Delivering one-on-one tutoring and specialist educational interventions
  • Supporting enrolments and advocating for young people within the education system
  • Engaging in outreach and flexible learning across various community locations
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to connect students with resources, including brokerage support
