About the role
We are seeking a Therapeutic Youth Support Worker to join our Targeted Care Packages (TCP) program in Warrnambool. This role supports young people who have transitioned out of residential care, or are at risk of entering it, by providing personalised, flexible support in home-based, kinship, or independent living arrangements.
You’ll work to support each young person’s emotional wellbeing, daily routines, and personal development. Whether it’s attending appointments, engaging in activities, or helping build life skills, you’ll play a vital role in their journey. You’ll also maintain clear communication and records and work therapeutically with families and carers to help young people achieve their goals.

This is a casual position based in Warrnambool, VIC within our TCP program. This position reports to the TCP Coordinator.

Requirements
- Valid and Current Driver's Licence
- Valid and Current Workers with Children's Check
- Valid and Current NDIS Workers Screeners Check
- Satisfactory Criminal History Check
- A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care) or a relevant qualification accompanied by the relevant skill set.
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families.
Whilst previous experience working with Young People is preferred, we encourage individuals without prior experience who are passionate about making a difference in Young People's lives to apply.
