This position will see you teaching an applied and integrated curriculum focused on the VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) and Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC). You will play a key role in fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment that empowers students to re-engage in learning and work toward their individual goals.

About the role:
The Education & Wellbeing Coordinator will bring energy and innovation to the classroom and beyond, implementing a cutting-edge, trauma-informed education model (ReLATE) designed to nurture young people with complex and diverse needs. This role is all about fostering an environment of unconditional positive regard, empowering every student to thrive. As a key collaborator, the Education & Wellbeing Coordinator will provide expert educational guidance and wellbeing support, playing a pivotal role in driving success for both the Clifton Hill team and education leaders!
Our Clifton Hill campus is a Foundation - Senior Years school.
This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity based in Clifton Hill, VIC within our MacKillop Education - Clifton Hill School. The position reports to the Principal, Clifton Hill.
Key Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- A four-year teaching qualification or equivalent, along with eligibility for Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- Proven experience in implementing innovative and high-aspiration initiatives for student learning, guided by the Victorian Curriculum.
- Expertise in designing, delivering, and assessing programs that address the diverse and complex needs of individual students, particularly those with learning challenges and behavioural difficulties.
- A strong ability to work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues to enhance program quality and improve student outcome.
