Part Time Opportunity - 30 Hours/ FT

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and highly organised Wellbeing Team Member to join our friendly team at Greenwood Manor Aged Care. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of older people.

About the Role

In this role, you will actively encourage and support residents to participate in:

• Recreational and leisure activities
• Wellbeing and lifestyle programs
• Individual social engagement
• Emotional, spiritual, and cultural support initiatives
• Family and community liaison
• Community engagement and social justice projects

You will also:

• Assist in developing and implementing care plans and lifestyle programs
• Provide individual social and emotional support
• Continuously explore innovative activities and programs to meet the evolving needs and preferences of residents

Experience & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Understanding of Aged Care Standards, accreditation processes, continuous improvement, and ANACC requirements
• One or more of the following qualifications:
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing or Disability)
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Leisure & Health
• Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance
• Certificate IV in Disability
• Diploma in Community Services
• Food Safety Certificate (desirable)
• Proven experience in a residential aged care setting
• PCW Certificate (desirable but not essential)

Additional requirements:

• Current Police Check
• Valid Working Rights
• Seasonal Influenza Vaccination (highly desirable)
• COVID-19 vaccination and relevant boosters (highly desirable)
