Lifestyle Team Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to join Medical & Aged Care Group (MACG) an organisation at the forefront of enhancing quality of life for older Australians in care.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and driven Wellbeing Team Leader to join our welcoming team at Casey Aged Care. This is a permanent full time position for someone looking to make a meaningful impact every day.

What does your new role look like?

You will play a key role in enriching the lives of our residents by actively encouraging participation in:

  • Recreational and leisure experiences
  • Wellbeing and lifestyle programs
  • Memory support unit activities
  • Individualised social, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support
  • Family and community engagement
  • Community outreach and social justice initiatives

You will also:

  • Assist with developing and implementing care plans and programs
  • Continuously explore innovative and meaningful activities that reflect resident interests and needs

Desirable Experience and Qualifications:

  • Certificate 3 or 4 Individual (Ageing or Disability) Support
  • Certificate 4 or Diploma in Leisure & Health
  • Certificate 3 Allied Health Assistance
  • Certificate 4 in Disability
  • Diploma Community Services
  •  Food Safety Certificate
  • An understanding of the Aged Care Standards, accreditation, continuous improvement and ANACC requirements.
  • Proven experience within a residential aged care setting
  • PCW Certificate- desirable however not essential
  • Current police check Required
  • Working Rights Required
  • Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Highly desirable
  • COVID Cover for all eligible members and boosters where suitable Highly desirable
