Accounts Receivable & Payable Officer

Head Office Finance | Residential Aged Care

At MACG, our finance team plays a vital role in supporting high quality care across our residential aged care services. We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable & Payable Officer who enjoys ownership, accuracy, and being part of a collaborative, purpose driven organisation.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role offers the opportunity to work across the full finance function, contribute to strong financial outcomes, and support services that genuinely make a difference in people’s lives.

Why Join MACG?

  • Be part of an organisation dedicated to care, dignity, and community
  • Work closely with a supportive, experienced finance team
  • Enjoy a hands on, end to end role with real ownership
  • Gain exposure across AR, AP, compliance, and financial operations
  • Build strong relationships with operational and clinical teams
  • Contribute to the financial sustainability of essential care services
  • Stable, long term role within a growing aged care provider

About the Role:

You’ll support the smooth operation of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable across our aged care portfolio, helping maintain strong cash flow, accurate reporting, and compliance. You’ll also assist with broader finance activities including reconciliations, reporting cycles, audits, and payroll support when required.

About You:

You’re organised, detail focused, and take pride in delivering accurate outcomes. You communicate well, enjoy collaborating with stakeholders, and understand the importance of strong financial processes in a care environment.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in AR, AP, or a similar finance role
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles
  • A professional, service-focused approach
  • Confidence using financial systems and Microsoft Office
  • Accounting, Commerce, or Business qualifications (highly regarded)
  • Aged care or healthcare experience (highly regarded)

Our Values at MACG:

At MACG, we are guided by care, respect, integrity, and collaboration. We place residents and families at the centre of everything we do and value team members who act with professionalism, empathy, and accountability.

If you’re passionate about delivering quality outcomes, building positive relationships, and contributing to meaningful work in aged care, we’d love to hear from you.
