Accounts Receivable Officer

Head Office Finance | Residential Aged Care

At MACG, our finance team plays a vital role in supporting high quality care across our residential aged care services. We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Officer who is customer focused, detail oriented, and values working in a collaborative, purpose driven organisation.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the Accounts Receivable function, support strong revenue outcomes, and engage directly with residents, families, and funding bodies in a meaningful and respectful way.

Why Join MACG?

  • Be part of an organisation dedicated to care, dignity, and community
  • Work closely with a supportive and experienced finance team
  • Enjoy a hands on role with clear ownership of Accounts Receivable
  • Gain exposure to aged care funding, billing, and revenue processes
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and internal teams
  • Contribute to the financial sustainability of essential care services
  • Stable, long term role within a growing aged care provider

About the Role:

You’ll support the end to end management of Accounts Receivable across our aged care portfolio, helping ensure accurate billing, timely collection of revenue, and positive customer experiences. The role involves regular communication with residents and their representatives, managing claims with funding bodies, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and prevent revenue leakage.

About You:

You’re organised, approachable, and take pride in delivering accurate and fair outcomes. You communicate confidently, handle sensitive conversations with professionalism, and understand the importance of strong financial processes in a care environment.

You’ll bring:

  • Experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance administration role
  • Strong communication, dispute resolution, and problem-solving skills
  • A professional, customer-focused approach
  • Confidence using financial systems and Microsoft Office
  • Qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or Business (highly regarded)
  • Aged care or healthcare experience (highly regarded)

Our Values at MACG

At MACG, we are guided by care, respect, integrity, and collaboration. We place residents and families at the centre of everything we do and value team members who act with professionalism, empathy, and accountability.

If you’re passionate about delivering quality outcomes, building positive relationships, and contributing to meaningful work in aged care, we’d love to hear from you.
