About the Role

As a Cleaner, you will be a valued member of the team, reporting to the Manager and providing high-quality cleaning services for the home and its residents.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the facility
• Adhering to infection control, hygiene, and safety standards
• Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment

About You

You are a motivated, organised, and energetic individual with a flexible approach to work. You demonstrate strong teamwork skills, effective time management, and genuine empathy and compassion for older people.

Essential Skills and Requirements

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Friendly, positive, and professional manner
• Experience working in an aged care or similar environment
• Passion for working in aged care
• Basic computer skills
• Understanding of hygiene and workplace safety practices
• Current Police Check
• Valid working rights in Australia

Highly Desirable:

• Seasonal Influenza vaccination
• COVID-19 vaccination

Desirable Experience

• Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Experience in residential aged care or hospital environments
