As Clinical Care Manager, you will provide clinical leadership across the home and support the delivery of high-quality care in line with aged care standards and best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate clinical care delivery across the home
  • Oversee care planning, clinical assessments, and documentation
  • Support and mentor Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, and Personal Care Workers
  • Monitor resident outcomes and ensure care plans reflect changing clinical needs
  • Oversee infection prevention and control practices and clinical compliance
  • Investigate and manage clinical incidents, risks, and quality improvements
  • Collaborate with GPs, allied health professionals, residents, and families
  • Participate in audits, accreditation processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promote a positive team culture focused on resident dignity, wellbeing, and quality care

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential aged care
  • Current Police Check
  • Current CPR & First Aid certification
  • COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations (as applicable)
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Previous leadership or clinical coordination experience (Required)
  • Strong understanding of aged care standards, accreditation, and clinical governance
  • Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Experience mentoring and supporting staff
  • Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills
  • Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement
  • Experience with electronic clinical systems
