About the Role
As a Cleaner, you will be a valued member of the team, reporting to the Manager and providing high-quality cleaning services for the home and its residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the facility
- Adhering to infection control, hygiene, and safety standards
- Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment
About You
You are a motivated, organised, and energetic individual with a flexible approach to work. You demonstrate strong teamwork skills, effective time management, and genuine empathy and compassion for older people.
Essential Skills and Requirements
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Friendly, positive, and professional manner
- Experience working in an aged care or similar environment
- Passion for working in aged care
- Basic computer skills
- Understanding of hygiene and workplace safety practices
- Current Police Check
- Valid working rights in Australia (VEVO/visa and/or passport)
Highly Desirable:
- Seasonal Influenza vaccination
- COVID-19 vaccination
Desirable Experience
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Experience in residential aged care or hospital environments
